He Is Risen!

Happy Easter from our family to yours!

Part of spring here in the Midwest is a dead season that occurs between the stark whiteness of winter and the lush greenery of summer in farm country. Snow disappears to leave behind piles of dirt, sand, and front yards resurface with lifeless tones of brown. Fortunately, it doesn’t stay that way for long. As each day gets a minute or two longer, if you look carefully, you can find a new sliver of color emerging. What was dead is slowly filled with new life. When we celebrate Easter we remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The miracle of the resurrection is not only a precursor to the salvation that exists at the end of life for those who trust in Jesus as their savior, but also declaration of restoration available right here, right now. God is able to “save, deliver, heal, and restore anything he wants to”. Easter is a powerful reminder that God can breathe life into anything we bring to him…a job, a relationship, a community, or a country. Day by day he can breathe life into our season here on earth. We pray you experience a breath of new life this Easter Season. He Is Risen!
